Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School (Department of Systems Biology)
Associate Director, Cilnical Microbiology Laboraties at BIDMC
The Arnoaut lab has two complementary areas of expertise: (1) systems immunology and (2) systems medicine. They have in common the use of big-data analytical methods, high-performance computation, information theory, and network/graph theory harnessed to understanding complex systems. On the systems immunology side, the group sequences and analyzes antibodies and T cell receptors across species and medical conditions to understand the immune system. In terms of systems medicine, the Arnoaut lab uses big-data analytics to reveal useful patterns, features, and problems of conventional medical care and genomic medicine.
